Privacy Policy

Summary#

This is a static information site. You can read every page without registering, without paying and without telling us who you are. We do not operate an account system, we do not run identity checks, and we do not maintain a marketing list. If you simply browse, the practical privacy footprint is the same as reading any other public web page.

The only personal data we hold is what you choose to send: an email to our contact address, and whatever it contains. That message is kept so we can reply and, where relevant, act on the correction it describes.

Information we never collect#

Some categories of data are simply outside our scope, and asking for them would be a sign that something is wrong. We never request your account credentials, your two-factor or verification codes, your wallet addresses or seed phrases, your identity documents, your balances, or your payment details. There is no form on this site that collects them and no support process that requires them.

Treat any message, popup or page that asks for those things while claiming to act for this site as fraudulent. It is not us, and legitimate platforms never ask for a password, a code or a seed phrase either, no matter how urgent the story sounds.

Cookies, local storage and preferences#

We use the minimum needed for the site to work. Your language choice may be stored locally in your browser so the site remembers which version you were reading. Separately, our analytics provider sets its own cookies, described in the next section. There are no advertising cookies here, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not sell audience data.

You control all of this from your browser. Clearing cookies and site data removes any stored preference, and blocking cookies entirely is a reasonable choice; the site remains readable if you do, though a preference or two may reset between visits.

Analytics and measurement#

Visit measurement is provided by Google Analytics 4 (GA4), with the measurement ID G-S6BTEVS7Y0. The script loads asynchronously after the page content, does not block rendering and is not part of any site feature, so blocking it changes nothing about how the site behaves.

GA4 sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_S6BTEVS7Y0, used to distinguish browser sessions. They expire after roughly two years by default and contain no name, phone number, email address or account identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses, so what we receive is aggregate reporting: page views, referring channel, approximate region, device class and time on page. We use it to decide which pages to rewrite, and we cannot identify a visitor from it.

• Retention: event data retention is a setting in the Google Analytics property; the default is two months and the maximum is fourteen months.
• Opting out: block or clear cookies in your browser, use a tracker-blocking extension, or install Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Third-party requests and external links#

More than one thing on this site is served or fetched by third parties. Live market widgets ask a public market API for current prices when a page loads, and the analytics script is fetched from Google, which means your browser makes direct requests to those providers and standard technical data such as your IP address is visible to them as part of those requests.

Separately, we link to external websites, including official exchange and project pages. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy policy, their cookies and their terms. We choose where our links point, but we do not control what happens after the click.

Your choices and rights#

Because we hold almost nothing, most privacy rights are simple to satisfy here. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence and any related details deleted, ask and we will remove them unless we are required to keep a record for a legitimate reason such as handling a legal complaint. You may also ask what we hold about you, and we will answer honestly, which will normally be one email thread or nothing at all.

For analytics data, you can also exercise your rights directly with Google, or stop the measurement as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights over personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We will cooperate with any such request that relates to data we actually hold. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

Children, retention and changes#

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age at which they can enter into contracts in their jurisdiction. Correspondence we receive is retained only as long as it serves the purpose it was sent for. If this policy changes in a way that affects what data is involved, the updated date at the top of the page will change with it, and material changes will be described rather than hidden in a revision.
